ABOUT US
Out here in Australia, life is lived under wide open skies. The sun is fierce, the seas are wild and the bush is as beautiful as it is untamed. At Outback Tails, we make products for dogs that are built to thrive in this rugged, breathtaking place - and to tell the story of it, too.
From our Waxed Canvas Collection - hand‑crafted using a heritage oilskin technique for toughness, weather‑resistance, and a patina that gets better with every adventure - to our vibrant artist‑designed accessories, every piece carries a piece of Australian heritage.
We’re proud to collaborate with talented Indigenous artists from the Warlukurlangu and Ikuntji Arts Centres, bringing their stories to life on our leads, collars, toys and beds. And with 10% of each sale from these designs going directly back to the artists, we’ve contributed over $100,000 to date.
But our mission goes beyond design. When you choose Outback Tails, award-winning Dog Chew Toys you’re also helping protect the wildlife and wild places we love - supporting the Aussie Desert Dogs program, the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and the University of Tasmania’s 'Save the Devil' appeal.
We believe in making things the right way - with natural, sustainable materials, environmentally friendly packaging and a deep respect for the land and culture that inspire us. Even our Grooming Range draws from the healing power of native botanicals like Kakadu Plum, Paperbark Oil and Tasmanian Pepper Berry.
Whether you’re exploring the outback, wandering the coast or just walking your favourite city block, Outback Tails accessories are built to last, designed to inspire and made to give back.
OUR IMPACT

celebrating Indigenous Artists
We are honoured to collaborate with the Warlukurlangu and Ikuntji Arts Centres to feature the work of Australian Indigenous artists on our dog accessories. 10% of proceeds from the sale of these products go directly back to the featured artist. Learn more about the artists we collaborate with here.

supporting NATIVE Wildlife
A portion of sales from our Taz the Tassie Devil Chew Toy supports the University of Tasmania's 'Save The Devil' appeal. Additionally, proceeds from our Outback Animal Toys are donated to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, aiding in the protection of precious animals and their habitats. You can read more about our contributions to these charities on our blog.

Helping Rescue Dogs
Our colourful Desert Dog chew toys help raise funds for the Aussie Desert Dogs program, a wonderful charity dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for stray and special needs dogs in remote Indigenous communities. Learn more about the program here.
